Hubby's air-borne badge
Hubby's air-borne badge
Finally it's over, he got his air-borne badge!! I think I'm even happier than him! He's a weird guy, told me that he thought he would have a sense of accomplishment after the helicoptor jump. But after that jump, he thought to himself "Hey, I'm still a same person eh?"
*chuckles* So cute. He didn't feel like a different person who had achieved something great. Told you, I always thought he's different from other guys. For MOST guys I know, they'll grab every little opportunity to brag about themselves.. Telling people what they did in NS days and how terrible things were, how they managed to pull through, how the scold/punish people or something..
I have seen people in friendster 'hao lian-ing' that they're commandos.. showcasing thousands of pictures about commmando NS life, having captions that have at least one "commando" word, affliations= commando, joined commando's group. Hubby didn't like to do that cos he thought it has no point. He even disfavour telling people he's a commando. But hey, I like telling people he's a commando, which isn't in his favour.. hahaha.
I got angry when he didn't tell me what's going on during his BMT.. cos I'm worried la. So he explained that he didn't wanna bring that up cos he didn't want us to worry about him, especially when the training was something that he can endure, though it's tough. There was once after he came back from outfield training, and over the phone, he just told me about interesting things that happened during that training, and only add on that his fieldpack was quite heavy.
It was until I saw him when I realised there were so many abrasions on his body! Even his mum went "ta men mei ren xing".. cos he took off his T-shirt for washing. But immediately after his mum's exclaimation, he put it back on and went back to his room. hahaha.
Kindda horrible looking really, I couldn't understand why heavy packs could actually cause that.. unless it's really heavy and they really carried it long enough.. poor thing..
Hubby's alway strong and independent.. maybe that's the reason why I cannot tolerate whiny guys. I have guy friends that whine a lot, about relationships, school, trainings, money, hairstyles, even pimples..
Like the parachuting, he told me everything was alright. But when I saw him, I found injuries like those that were caused after you fall on the road. Ask him what happened, this was his answer "No la nothing, almost everyone has these, it's inevitable. Some have worse injuries, I'm considered lucky." and he smiled.
Sometimes I thought fate really has been so kind to me despite evil things I have done u know.. haha.. serious, he's really an angel.
