Drama Series

How I spent my holidays!

Ask me how did I spend my holidays, most people will be shocked to hear that I've never been overseas eversince I got Caesar! Not even overnights for chalets.

I don't club, and I only go out with my boyfriend. But this month, my boyfriend has been forcefully snatched away from me by stupid NS. They weren't allowed to book out every week. So you're right! I'll rather stay at home.

You must be wondering, "What the hell can you do indoors for a whole damn month?". Ok here's how I survived, 1st I've got a best friend by me all the time - Caesar. Then I confiscated my boyfriend's Nintendo DS. I was so obsessed with Rune Factory and I could skip meals. (For those that do not know, skipping meals will be the last thing I will do cos of my gastritis condition). I popped a few pills after that cos it was so painful, and I continued to play lying on the bed, when I'm still in pain. Yea, kind of no-life, but I really enjoyed every minute of it!

I brought Caesar everywhere I feel like going. Cabbing around (with pet friendly uncles) with him like nobody's business. And had quite a number of small gatherings with fellow dog owners. Oh, not forgetting online shopping! My mum was shocked when the credit card bill came.

I've only started watching drama serials 4 days ago. 1st was Two and a Half Men introduced by Sihui. It's damn funny. Way better than local dramas. Next was 公主小妹. I'm so proud I finished the whole thing in one day! I like Angela's acting, she's naturally cute - her size, her eyes, her voice etc, but she can act! She cries like she's really crying! It's so natural that you'll almost feel for the character. Wu Chun is still handsome in that show though I thought I got bored of his appearence. And there's this other actor, George Hu I think, an ABC who acts as Wu Chun's lil brother - He's kindda cute too!

Ok anyway, I've ditched youtube and crunchyroll cos the shows are so limited! China based video sharing has any English/Chinese/Korean/Jap dramas and movies you want to watch! Setting off for Coffee Prince!

P.S Outing to our Secret Garden next Monday!

Damn those Nuggets

Damn those Nuggets

Few days ago, after bringing our dogs to our Secret Garden, we went to Sihui's house to have them bathed. Surprisingly (or was it just to me), Sihui can cook! My, the spaghetti she prepared was a thousand times better than what my maid prepared! Well my maid's basically noodles in tomato sauce, it's beyond disgusting, I never would wanna eat that unless there's really nothings else edible at home.

Alright, anyway, the nuggets she fried was great too! I watched how she fried them and she's really nice and paitient to explain step-by-step of what she's doing. I could tell it seemed common sense to her. Just add oil and fry them till golden brown!

I have the same brand of nuggets at home, so I decided to try them out for supper. As most of you have expected from the title of this entry....

I swear I did everything she said, followed everything I saw! But the nuggets simply skipped "golden brown" and jumped to "burnt black"!! My boyfriend suggested that it's because it wasn't defrost. But Sihui did you take it out from the freezer too?

I quit. I'm out of the kitchen..

Result of a Quiz I've just done.

Some are true, some aren't. Then again, the things mentioned can be true for many ppl out there.

Get to know yourself better

Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. *Agree* You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties. *True unless I do not hate them*

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You are a true romantic. *I really have no idea, I think I'm not?* When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true. *Agree*

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship. *YESS*

The seriousness of your love:
Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. *I believe that's very true* In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates. *What? As in burping out loud?*

Your views on education:
Education is less important than the real world out there, away from the classroom. *It is important, but just slightly less than other factors like EQ?* Deep inside you want to start working, earning money and living on your own. *Damn true! But the reason has nothing got to do with the importance of education*

The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. *Not forgeting factors like holidays* Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life. *My pet business that's at infant stage*

How do you view success:
You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. *like singing?* Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous. *It's too late I'm bonded as a civil servant!*

What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of having no one to rely on in times of trouble. *Not many aren't right?* You don't ever want to be unable to take care of yourself. *Who does?* Independence is important to you. *You mean it's not important to you?*

Who is your true self:
You are full of energy and confidence. *It really depends, when it comes to work...* You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. *YESS, luckily hubby has already accepted this as part of me* You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long. *bingo*

Secret Garden pics

Outings with Doggies..
to our Secret Garden

The pictures are ready, and I've picked 20% of them to post online.. COS THERE ARE SOOOO MANY PICTURES TO CHOOSE FROM! Anyway, it's a visit to our Secret Garden, as the name suggests, I don't really intend to share the location of this place, so, don't ask me unless you're a part of Caesar's clique!

It's a place where we can unleash our dogs and nobody knows and nobody cares! The moment Caesar's set off-leashed, he dashed up and down the slope.. but before Sihui could get ready snapping pictures, he got tired.

Entrance of the Secret Garden

Here's the picture we caught of Caesar dashing up
the hill.

And after awhile.. he's like this..

Caesar and Ashley

That's Delia and me! The big guys went to check the area before the small ones are allowed to roam. You know, to scare off strays 1st.
*As if*

*Yum, there's something delicious here!*

*Aw YUCK!*

The water is not very clean, but the dogs love it! Here's Ashley cooling off.

Shaking the water off his coat

Tired, decided to lie down for awhile.

Do NOT disturb
That's Caesar, display his stupid looks. Here's Caesar again, with dried grass sticked onto his wet nose.

Spanko the whippet! He's the only poor thing not allowed to be set off-leashed cos I'm not sure if he'll respond to my call. Neighbour's dog.

Drinking from the stream.

Enjoying the breeze.

*What do you want? Can't you see I'm resting?*

Here's a picture taken while I was screaming behind the photographer. Half his face was covered with mud!

Puppy, Caesar's lil girlfriend.

Run!

Paradise
*pant* *pant*

*What does she want from me?!?!*

*Get out of my way*

Cool morning dip in muddy water.

One shocking thing during the outing was that, we found this carcass lying in the grass. I thought it was Caesar's..

Tired humans with dirty dogs.

Dear friends, please let me know who's interested in joining us for the next outing! Owners of female dogs only! Cos Caesar's very aggressive to males.

P.S Don't ask me where this place is! (you'll get a standard answer cos I'm not gonna tell!!!

EXPO OUTING

Exhausted after the day..

It's the BEST dog outing so far. All the dogs and owners were burnt out at the end of the day. We set of at 7am to our 'secret garden'. The pictures are with Sihui and will be posted shortly. Please update!

Essential oils for dogs??

I've been reading about this and am planning to carry 100% pure essential oils in my petshop. Cos there seem to have lots of benefits. I'll try on Caesar to see the effectiveness in tick repel 1st. I've read somewhere that aromatherapy can help reduce aggression too. Not sure how it'll work for aggression, since Caesar's not aggressive to his family. Will be studying about it intensively before I know the correct usuage.

Great news for many, I heard it's good for skin too! Will try it on myself and see how it goes. Anyway, these are 100% natural products, a lot better than commercial products that contains so much chemicals.. so, there's no harm for me to try it! If it's good, perhaps I'll have a whole cupboard of different essential oils for different purposes! Then I can make my own mask!

Kawaii Bride - Phoebe

The Kawaii Bride and me!
They finally got married on the 8th December 2007! I didn't notice the ribbon my my top was untied! Looked so weird! Didn't have time to do my hair on that day and I was late so don't ask. Just look at the Kawaii Bride ok? Looking pretty in her Kimono!!!

During that dinner a picture of Phoebe and me with Sassy and Caesar was flashed! I was soooo shocked cos, I was in big big Tees and shorts with hair messily clipped up cos it was a meet-up at my place. Worst thing was, I blinked when the picture was taken. Can you imagine how retarded I looked? It was UGLY, 100% ugly. Then again, as long as I keep quite about the ownership of a beautiful dog, no one could recognise me as the UGLY freak in that picture. *phew*
Getting tired of my hairstyle. Planning on short hair! "Witch Yoo Hee" kind of hairstyle. In fact, if I were to let some of my hair loose when tied up, I have exactly the same hairstyle as Yoo Hee from the front. Daniel did it for me!
Oh anw, totally out of point, but I need a recommendation for good shampoos, hair's a lil resistent to Redken now. It's very good if you use this brand once in awhile. Any others? I have very lousy hair quality by nature, took pains to maintain a healthy looking one.

Meet-up with Colin and Phoebe!

Meet-up @ East Coast!

Hello all! I haven't been blogging cos I don't think I've anything interesting to share until now!

It's just a normal dinner-by-the-beach with Colin, Phoebe, along with Caesar's childhood friends, Sassy and Max!!!

We didn't take any group photos cos like I've mentioned, it's just a normal meet-up with good friends. As usual, I'm always the most alert about other dogs around us, and out of nowhere during conversation, I'll go, "There's a Jack Russell." "There's a German Sherperd." "Hey I'll walk the other way, there're dogs in front."

And my friends' first reactions will be "Where?". People say I'm sharp and alert. But I must say I wasn't born like that... and may I ask, how can I AFFORD being not alert? I have consequences to face you know.. and.. I've learnt the hard way - fallen and being dragged on the road when Caesar spotted a dog 1st, spine got injured cos I pulled Caesar back when he lunged suddenly, nails and flesh torn apart cos of all the strugglings, ALL because I wasn't alert enough. I was trained by Caesar and driven by fear to be alert!

Ok anyway, while on our way back to the carpark, I saw a BIG dog far away. I could tell it's huge!! When I'm talking about BIG dog, I don't mean German Sheperd or Rotties.

So I told Phoebe that I'll go the other way while they check that huge furball out. It looked like a big Samoyed at 1st. Frankly speaking, I was really curious about it's size cos it looked bigger than Caesar. As it came closer, I could tell it's a Great Pyrenees Mountain Dog!! Though Caesar and I are far away, Caesar still spotted that huge, white furball. Jumped around like a mad dog of course, but again thanks to the head-collar that worked like magic, I was safe =).

Best thing was, the huge furball and the other German Sheperd were females! That means Caesar will love them! I guess I was more excited than Caesar, and I'm afraid Colin and Phoebe could tell that I was! "Awwwww, soooooooo cuuteeeee!!!!" "OMG!!! She's so so so cute!!" "Arrhhh..." "Help me take a picture!" "Again again!", constantly hugging the fluffy thing.

Thank god she's shorter than Caesar in height and length. But an average male would have been about the same as, or slightly taller than Caesar. Great Pyrenees have bigger skulls than Malamutes. Here's the picture of Caesar and Kaze (pronounced as kah-zay) lying down.

Check out their paws! SAME SIZE!! Even "Ah Dai" from UPetgamart has smaller paws!
From Left: Kaze, I, Caesar

All of a sudden, the so called "big dog" (German Sheperd) looked so tiny and insignificant with the presence of 2 giants. They have very friendly owners too, some very kind uncle and aunty.

Later, Caesar tried to hump on that big, white, fluffy ass. I stopped him when his paws were on her. But Kaze was such a "bo chap" kind of dog. She has that "hump lor" kind of attitude. A very calm dog by nature.

The owners agreed that giant breeds are very independent and equally stubborn. Without doubt, it takes more effort to train them, mentally and well, physically of course. Not forgetting to mention that they were shocked to hear from Phoebe that I'm the owner of my boy! Couldn't imagine how I managed to control him. Phoebe added, "She is very strong!" And Colin, "Ya, look at her arm muscles!"

*giggles* It was quite funny to hear that at that moment. But yea the opportunity cost of having a big beautiful pet is the beautiful, sleek, girly arms that all girls would pray for. I have big arms according to my body proportions.

This is Ah Dai, Caesar and I, taken quite somtime ago:

And their paws..

I just noticed how much I love this colour from this photo.
Now, where did I put that watch?

My love for Giant Dogs has again been proven and confirmed. I have no idea why, I love animals in general, but I just have something for bigger animals, and yes Giraffes are cute cos they have long eyelashes and blue tongue.

We realized Colin and I shared something in common in our characters. We both probably have big big Karma trees and Phoebe agreed! Hahahaha. Well he's my BIG BRO of course we share something in common!

As of May 25th, 2007

WELCOME!

I do not have an attitude problem, it's just a personality you cannot handle.

Caesar and I

A highlight to potential idiots who may draw stupid conclusions and start questioning me, Caesar's legally licensed under my residential address.

P.S I guess even my room is far from small?

Caesar smelt his beef cooking, but he had to wait for the boiling hot beef + Soup to cool before comsumption.

You can tell he's frustrated when he's hungry!

See how this giant reacts to his friends' names.
Damn funny!! That deft look!
