Sick sick sick
I guess staying at home all day for more than a month causes your immunity to bacteria to weaken. I will fall sick as soon as someone within my 2-metre radius coughs. Damn..
My frequency of updates has fallen drastically as compared to June.. as you can see, I'm really kinda so occupied! With tidying, tuition, school, Caesar, etc etc. My whole house was a mess, a BIG mess, HORRIBLE mess. Trust me when I say it's horrible, I'm not close to being a natty person, so when I say the mess was horrible, it's actually shockingly repulsive to at least 90% of you out there.
BUT finally it's really presentable now!
It's till now then I realise AGAIN that a pent house is usually windy! There were too many pieces of furniture at home and it blocked the air-flow, thus, no wind. But it's so different now! And my house definitely looks more spacious this time.
Another update, I'll be starting my training for 10km from tomorrow onwards. It's no kick for hubby cos he's running 12km once every week, but for a tiny girl who hasn't been in touch with sports since graduation from college? Jogging with Caesar was kinda cheesy as compared to 10km I'm sure. The most we'll jog is 3km before Caesar gets heat exhaustion. I usually just throw Caesar in a pool and do 'eye-exercise' - watch him swim.
I'm sure doing more work outs will strengthen my immune system too. Carbo-loading's a must for me before exercise cos my body burns off fats faster than most people. That will mean I need more carbo than most people I guess.. which is kinda scary cos I remembered having blurred vision and vomitting everytime after the 2.4km run in secondary school. Before you say I'm weak, I actually came in 1st for girls.. all the time throughout the 4 years in school.
But no one knew that I will always vomit after the run, cos I'll usually be done with the disgusting regurgitation before the sencond girl enters the toilet. HAHA. My timings? Not fantastic as compared to the female runners I knew in college (so I'll not put it here), I believe I was lucky to run with the really weak runners in secondary school throughout the 4 years? Can only say it's 11+ minutes.
Really excited about the run actually. I haven't participated in any marathons outside school, and the longest I'm ran non-stop was only 5km. PLUS I've been slacking A LOT for 3 years. 10km is really kinda of a big deal to me.. will my knee-cap split?? Cos that happened to a schoolmate when I was in college!
