Yes it was me on Channel 8 just now

and it was my dad who appeared on the news of ALL the TV channels and spoke 3 different languages about the E-track device.

This was how the story came by, my parents saw the ad of this competition in late May and decided to submit our electricity usuage bill for fun.

So my dad told me to just go and help him submit the form to the mediacorp receptionist. When I got there, I was told to sit down and wait for the respective person to come out. I was very reluctant to idle around cos I was extremely dressed down, NO make-up, with specs I think. I did sensed something strange when I looked at the others in the waiting area. They certainly don't look like artistes, but they were dressed very nicely, with THICK make-up and all. So to my horror, we were all supposed to go into Mediacorp for an interview!!!!!!!

I called up my dad and told him about it, but there were no parking lots and he wasn't able to leave the car. So I HAD to go for the interview alone when all others are in families, nicely dressed. Can you imagine how dumb I felt? Called up hubby and complained while I wait, called Sihui, called mum and nagged about them not reading the ad properly.

So yea, I guess our electrical usuage and my descriptions of our home impressed them, so we got chosen and were informed abour 3 weeks later! They were particularly curious about how a 9-room condo look like.

so actually I'm really dragged into this!! Very Paiseh!! But the torment is over, I just got to know the results too. It's just so embarassing cos I look pretty retarded on screen. I hadn't told anyone about this but 2 of my friends + my bf.

The hosts were saying my parents' room was the one that looked like a 3-room HDB cos there's everything in it! Many of my friends were saying it's "cool". LOL. Other than the furniture a bedroom should have, they have water dispenser, refrigerator, microwave oven, FREEZER, sofa sets, dining table.. etc etc.. lol. too many things!!! But they were all removed since! BIG BIG change. That's why I was always complaining about tidying things up in my house.

They were so kind to bend down for this shot just for me!

P.S More retards emailing and questioning me about giant dog in HDB. I need to hire a secretary cos dealing with these people boils my blood. Why do they even exist in this world? SO STUPID! Even my lil cousin can count and infer from things she sees and hears. If you're an idiot, here's something simpler to understand; my built-in area is bigger than most landed's total build-in. (I've been trying to avoid this topic in case people say I'm a show-off, but idiots just exists and worse, they try to piss me off with their stupidity.) I mean how can anyone with a brain think that a HDB can have 9 decent bedrooms??? It was highlighted in the show!!!!!!! Screw yourselves!!

P.S.S Nattie claimed that her offending assertions and accusations were left on my tagbox due to ignorance as she did not show much solicitude to the content (narration/graphics etc) of the show.

I do not agree on her claims of over reactions on my part. Plus, she was the one directing accusations at me, so other than targetting my reactions at her personally, who else should I target?

That's my standard reaction to attempts to stigmatize me baselessly. Frankly speaking, I'm really not very convinced about most of her alleges on the reasons behind her ignorance (Not elaborating, you won't wanna read another essay). So heck, I don't wanna care either. I've accepted her apology and have removed the contents about my (rather interesting) response to her groundless accusations on 8/8/08, at 2030.
