Will miss hubby!!!!

Hubby will be flying to Thailand this coming Sunday and will only be back a month later.. *sigh* ONE WHOLE MONTH. Hope the training's not too harsh. All I would ask of him is to text me whenever he's able to, so that I'll know he's safe.

He's not reading this, but I still wish him all the best for ATEC (I hope this acronym's correct). You guys will win!!! Proud of you for what you have accomplished and persevered through. For Honour & Glory? *LOL* All the best for you and your friends there.

This entry is purely for the sake of keeping in touch. I do have something interesting to blog about but it kinda require more effort so..

Anyway, I wanna thank the people who paid Caesar and me a visit yesterday! Thanks for the gifts, I needed them actually! And Caesar's really happy to see people visiting.

I'm wondering what's contributing to my unintentional apathetic behavior. I made Jarick and his dad waited for 30minutes at the lobby yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!! My gosh, I really did felt terribly sorry cos.. HOW CAN I FORGET ABOUT IT when I was being reminded only 10 minutes before their arrival??? Count me lucky cos he and his dad are real nice people. Really really nice people. They called me while I'm cabbing back from my hubby's place, and once I've reached home, I totally forgot about it! His dad was assuring me that it's ok.. but.. I really feel bad about it =(

Next, HUBBY'S GONNA BE AWAY FOR ONE WHOLE MONTH from this Saturday onwards!! I'm not gonna survive that easily.. *sigh* gonna be so worried everyday..

Finally have got time to breathe! The past week was hell.. thanks to my habit of last-minute rushing of work.

I'm deciding whether to tidy up my room cos I may not have time for it! Something I thought was worth for a laugh happened today. Went for dinner with hubby, and some shopping after that. I saw an extremely CUTE trash bin! Knowing he wouldn't allow me to make anymore purchases, I turned around and looked at him, saying, "Hey just what I needed! I need a trash bin for my room!"

He pulled the bin out of my hand and placed it back on the shelf, replying, "YOUR ROOM IS A TRASH BIN, you don't need it."

LOL. Cracked me up. hahahahaha, I was laughing all the way. What he said was true though.

Gonna bring Caesar to swim one day this week!

Another good thing, Xuesha's domain thingy is finally resolved! I have no idea why I have the sense of satisfaction here.. but I just felt some sense of joy!!

Good things are happening lately. I'm so happy for you too JUDITH! Still very happy when I thought about what's happening! If you're wondering, she's my wonderful and talented friend who's a make-up artist. *hugs*

Singapore won the bid to host inaugural Youth Olympic Games in 2010!! Among so many great cities, Singapore was given the privilege! This is really great. September this year, the 1st ever F1 night race will be held in Singapore, and 2010, 1st ever Youth Olympics! This will definitely be significant in history.

I'm glad cos Singapore really deserves it. It's also a chance to expose clueless foreigners to Singapore. You'll be surprised, A LOT of them do not know about us. My aunt came across someone who asked, "Which part of India is Singapore in?". *LOL* That's hilarious. Many thought that Singapore is still some backward fishing village too!

Seems we are the ones always aware of the happenings in the world. I'm excited, cos Singapore is already so beautiful, and she'll become even more beautiful after the multi-million dollar make-over.

It makes me wonder will circle-line be built by then? So many major projects to be completed!

Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day!

It was still Valentines Day 45 minutes ago. Hubby's in camp.. but we sort of celebrated yesterday. Haha, nothing really special, except for we exchanged gifts! I have warned him that I don't wanna see any flowers and even told him that I wanted an 红包 (ang pao) instead. Hahaha, actually, I really do. I told him that I'll rather spend those money on food. I mean, seriously, I enjoy food a lot more. As long as it's something that I can use or consume.

So hubby, trying to be creative, bought cholates cos I love them. BUT, not dark chocolates! I even saw a pink heart-shaped one - well though with a very beautiful white chocolate petaled rose on it. Needless to say, the shop must have marked up the price by a huge percentage. What a waste of money. I'll rather have more Ajisen Ton Toro Ramen.

We bought a v-day gift for caesar too! Will upload pictures soon.

Most of my friends received flowers on this seemingly very special day. *LOL* Which makes me wonder what makes flowers so special.? But before you jump into conclusion, I have received flowers before alright. I just don't find it extremely pretty or romantic. Hmmm, fake ones may be acceptable cos you can put them up for decorations. But what's the point of receiving a BIG bouquet of flowers and watch them wither away slowly and die off eventually? They become my tomato plants' fertilizers in the end. Now, tell me how exactly enjoyable is that?

I guess everyday is valentines to me, I'm too pampered by hubby. Hahahahaha. But I really do felt this way.

Well I do have a wish list but I don't want hubby to splurge too much because of me.. besides, he's serving NS. I will definitely paste my wish list in his forehead when we get married cos he'll have a stable income by then. But now.. nope. I want to import another malamute or great dane. I want a miyazawa flute, another Gucci wallet, a watch, unlimited supply of iced dark-chocolate beverage.. and so on.. cos this lists will always have updates and will never be left empty.

There're currently innumerable things wanna get - inclusive of a camera, and a miyazawa flute. I'm selling my barely 1 year old camera to my brother for a mere $200 bucks. Reason why I decide to sell instead of giving it: my brother's richer than me. For $200?? Cos he's a brother. Why am I selling it when I don't really have that intention? Cos I've been eyeing this white -colored Sony Camera for months! I bought my Olympus cos it's water proof and shock proof. I thought it's kindda cool cos it's water proof (but it really is), however, it's not the right camera for me - I have shaky hands. Bought it on impulse too.

And whether I'm selling this water-proof camera, I WILL be getting the white-colored one!! That's my color! I believe sony's good too cos my 3.2 mega pix phone is capturing very clear photos with my shaky grip.

I have a few things in mind that I'll be getting very soon, that is Ayumi Hamasaki's new album, Shiseido's pencil eyeliner(recommended by a very pretty friend), Shu Uemura's cleansing oil.

Still looking for a white-colored backpack that I like. Need your help friends! I'll prefer it to be only white color and if there's a logo, it's a small one. Backpack - for school, and a good one.

I was messaged again by one of those self-proclaimed animal enthusiast. 1st he tried to impress me by naming a breed that isn't very commonly known in Singapore, the Rhodesian Ridgeback. I wasn't very much impressed though.. I have seen and even hugged one before. It's huge, slightly bigger boned than huge German Sheperds and taller. Anyway, this fella went on about having a liking for the German Sheperd as well, but Ridgebacks are easier to be taken care of. *I supposed it's the fur*

AND the stupid thing started this moment onwards.

Saw this at the distributors warehouse and decided to try out. It's kindda fun!! These jellies are actually meant for plants. It's used to hold water in the soils and release it when the plants need them. Another name for it is superabsorbent polymers. You just have to put them in water and watch them grow!!!!!

I decided to try out more since they looked kind of beautiful to me! So I stole a crystal bowl from my dad's display shelf.

It was too late that night, so I turned in shortly after I've taken this photo. And the next morning, I was greeted by these beautiful jelly crystals!

Look at them! So beautiful! I'm deciding to buy an indoor plant to put these crystals in use. Crystal like fertilizers too! Any recommendations? I prefer those that blooms =)

Animals slammed onto the ground before skinning. It doesn't cause immediate death and they'll have to go through the pain throughout the whole process of being skinned alive.


I've seen this video few years back, and I really couldn't bear to finish watching it. I guess many of you out there can't either. It's too cruel and you'll really just feel so much for them. I wanted to blog about it but the video was removed then. Here's my chance now.

It's a video featuring how people "harvest" animal fur, in an inhumane manner. It's not meant to be a gruesome video, instead, it's a video meant to create AWARENESS. Frankly speaking, I've never had so much thoughts about "Fur Harvesting" whenever I see real fur products until I've watched this video (Well, a small portion of it, but the impact is still very great on me). I guess I'm deciding to be strong enough to finish this video now.

Please DO NOT reject watching this just because you think you may not be able to take it. Sacrifice some of your tears for a strong awareness of what people are doing to these poor animals. I'm serious, I really think you should watch it no matter what, and it doesn't matter whether you'll finish this video.

Can't tell you exactly what happened but I really in a good mood today! Hubby brought me to Ajisen and I kindda shocked the couple sitting beside us when I was helping hubby finish his portion. LOL.

Hopefully by the end of the month I can gain my voice and weight back!

Some of you are going to envy me cos of this! I've replenished my Food Bank with these!

It's kindda weird to have to doll-up to go to school on Monday actually, but I only have an hour of lesson and I'm going out afterwards! Hello schoolmates, please don't give me that "why-put-on-THICK-makeup-to-school" kind of look ya?

I always have cravings for Ajisen. Open a branch in Jurong Point(JP) PLEASE! Because KFC seems to lose attraction when you have them almost every lunch..

You may wonder how is it possible, but well, thanks to whoever who planned my time-table, I have at least a 2-hour lunch break EVERYDAY. JP used to have the BEST chickens among all of it's other branches. USED TO. Quality kindda dropped.

Hang out at Delifrance quite often now, cos it allows me to luxuriate in a peachy ambience, checking emails/doing assignments while I indulge in good food! I'm anti-social, I prefer going there alone. Maybe I should stop taking cab to school to allow me to have good food everyday. I've sinned taking cab to school everyday since last week, cos I woke up late. And per trip cost me about $35 during peak hours and $25 during non-peak!!!!!!! Speaking of that, I think I MUST stop sleeping late to avoid those prodigal expenditure.

I think I'm blogging so much because I'm avoiding school work. But anyway, we did our story-telling presentation today, and I thought my group was quite good! I thought I didn't present it as good as I could have presented. Cos I didn't exactly practice.. but well.. I think I should be thankful I did OK. Hahah, makes me remember the times I read Big Books to my dear kids in MBS. Miss them so much!!

Oh yes Clara, she really has a very cute character! She bumped her buttock against a table quite hard, and her reaction was to remain stunned for a second, and exclaimed to us in a tone with the mixture of laughter and pain,"Ouch my ass hurts.. really my ass hurts.." Hahahaha. Wished I had it recorded.
