Athletes that caught my attention

Late last month, I spent a day at ECP with my camera and a new camera lens which I wanted to play around with. Still quite a stranger to it, most pictures taken were rather disappointing!! =((

So at a point, I loitered around the area near the finishing line of a duathlon to observe the athletes who were finishing the race. Three of them caught my attention. 

Here's one...

Extremely sweet moment! The participant's wife and baby were waiting for him arrive and when he did, he hugged his wife, nuzzled the little one and carried it to cross the finishing line together. Awwwwww....

Next, I take my hats off this lady. She finished the race. She was required to complete a 10km run and proceed for a 35km cycle before completing another 5km of run. SHE COMPLETED IT!! I don't know her, but I'm so proud of this lady!! I wonder if my passion for sports would still be strong when I reach her age!

I just signed myself up for a 31km race which will be held in the later part of the year. Wish me luck!! I might consider trying out for a full marathon by the end of this year. =D
