Our Secret Hideout *not intending to share location*

Before I start:

I received SO MANY emails SUDDENLY, questioning me about keeping huge dog in HDB!! I DON'T LIVE IN A HDB, what makes you all think there's enough space for a huge dog?? I'm against the idea of having medium/large breeds to be kept in small places, it's like caging them up!!! I'm not trying to be mean, but use some common sense!!

Don't think about buying such breeds just cos you think they look beautiful, PLEASE READ UP ON THESE BREED! There are so many out for adoption and do you still think these are easy breeds to be taken care of? Have you ever thought of whether they are suitable to your lifestyles? No! You just thought it's pretty and wanna COLLECT it!!!! Talk to me only when you think you are an animal lover who places animals interest at heart. For people who lives in HDB and still wants to BUY such breeds, you are god damn selfish and please don't talk to me. You think you can just selve them up?

*****************************

Hello all, it's been a really tiring day for me for firstly, in an attempt to readjust my biological clock back to normal, I haven't slept the whole of last night. Secondly, Sihui and I went for a short outing with Caesar, Ashley, Puppy and Spanko!!!

I'm sun-burnt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I nearly fell asleep on Caesar.

The family of black and white:

You know he growls at others who tries to lie down on him? Yay baby loves mummy!

Sand-covered stupid face..

If you might have noticed, there's this blur-spot on most of the pictures taken. Cos there were sand on my lense, my fingers were full of sand, so I blew on it. Saliver came out. LOL. Have got nothing sand-free to clean it, so I just continued taking pictures.

The fur-kids..

Spanko's damn cute, he won't move when you didn't want him to!

Tongue.

*I looked like I'm riding on Caesar's back, but I wasn't. Dogs are not physically "designed" to take weights on their back.

Sandy..

Handsome!!!!!

Now I know what will happen when I move to a house with a garden..
Probably gonna have most of the outdoor cemented cos..
Caesar loves to dig..

And lie in the hole to cool himself down.
Just the right fit! He looks so cute!!!!

Finally, A picture with EVERYONE inside:
Spanko, Ashley, Sihui, Caesar, Puppy, My feet

When my baby is busy, DO NOT disturb him or you will get scolding from him. See how vocally expressive my baby giant is!

Secret Garden pics

Outings with Doggies..
to our Secret Garden

The pictures are ready, and I've picked 20% of them to post online.. COS THERE ARE SOOOO MANY PICTURES TO CHOOSE FROM! Anyway, it's a visit to our Secret Garden, as the name suggests, I don't really intend to share the location of this place, so, don't ask me unless you're a part of Caesar's clique!

It's a place where we can unleash our dogs and nobody knows and nobody cares! The moment Caesar's set off-leashed, he dashed up and down the slope.. but before Sihui could get ready snapping pictures, he got tired.

Entrance of the Secret Garden

Here's the picture we caught of Caesar dashing up
the hill.

And after awhile.. he's like this..

Caesar and Ashley

That's Delia and me! The big guys went to check the area before the small ones are allowed to roam. You know, to scare off strays 1st.
*As if*

*Yum, there's something delicious here!*

*Aw YUCK!*

The water is not very clean, but the dogs love it! Here's Ashley cooling off.

Shaking the water off his coat

Tired, decided to lie down for awhile.

Do NOT disturb
That's Caesar, display his stupid looks. Here's Caesar again, with dried grass sticked onto his wet nose.

Spanko the whippet! He's the only poor thing not allowed to be set off-leashed cos I'm not sure if he'll respond to my call. Neighbour's dog.

Drinking from the stream.

Enjoying the breeze.

*What do you want? Can't you see I'm resting?*

Here's a picture taken while I was screaming behind the photographer. Half his face was covered with mud!

Puppy, Caesar's lil girlfriend.

Run!

Paradise
*pant* *pant*

*What does she want from me?!?!*

*Get out of my way*

Cool morning dip in muddy water.

One shocking thing during the outing was that, we found this carcass lying in the grass. I thought it was Caesar's..

Tired humans with dirty dogs.

Dear friends, please let me know who's interested in joining us for the next outing! Owners of female dogs only! Cos Caesar's very aggressive to males.

P.S Don't ask me where this place is! (you'll get a standard answer cos I'm not gonna tell!!!

Meet-up with Colin and Phoebe!

Meet-up @ East Coast!

Hello all! I haven't been blogging cos I don't think I've anything interesting to share until now!

It's just a normal dinner-by-the-beach with Colin, Phoebe, along with Caesar's childhood friends, Sassy and Max!!!

We didn't take any group photos cos like I've mentioned, it's just a normal meet-up with good friends. As usual, I'm always the most alert about other dogs around us, and out of nowhere during conversation, I'll go, "There's a Jack Russell." "There's a German Sherperd." "Hey I'll walk the other way, there're dogs in front."

And my friends' first reactions will be "Where?". People say I'm sharp and alert. But I must say I wasn't born like that... and may I ask, how can I AFFORD being not alert? I have consequences to face you know.. and.. I've learnt the hard way - fallen and being dragged on the road when Caesar spotted a dog 1st, spine got injured cos I pulled Caesar back when he lunged suddenly, nails and flesh torn apart cos of all the strugglings, ALL because I wasn't alert enough. I was trained by Caesar and driven by fear to be alert!

Ok anyway, while on our way back to the carpark, I saw a BIG dog far away. I could tell it's huge!! When I'm talking about BIG dog, I don't mean German Sheperd or Rotties.

So I told Phoebe that I'll go the other way while they check that huge furball out. It looked like a big Samoyed at 1st. Frankly speaking, I was really curious about it's size cos it looked bigger than Caesar. As it came closer, I could tell it's a Great Pyrenees Mountain Dog!! Though Caesar and I are far away, Caesar still spotted that huge, white furball. Jumped around like a mad dog of course, but again thanks to the head-collar that worked like magic, I was safe =).

Best thing was, the huge furball and the other German Sheperd were females! That means Caesar will love them! I guess I was more excited than Caesar, and I'm afraid Colin and Phoebe could tell that I was! "Awwwww, soooooooo cuuteeeee!!!!" "OMG!!! She's so so so cute!!" "Arrhhh..." "Help me take a picture!" "Again again!", constantly hugging the fluffy thing.

Thank god she's shorter than Caesar in height and length. But an average male would have been about the same as, or slightly taller than Caesar. Great Pyrenees have bigger skulls than Malamutes. Here's the picture of Caesar and Kaze (pronounced as kah-zay) lying down.

Check out their paws! SAME SIZE!! Even "Ah Dai" from UPetgamart has smaller paws!
From Left: Kaze, I, Caesar

All of a sudden, the so called "big dog" (German Sheperd) looked so tiny and insignificant with the presence of 2 giants. They have very friendly owners too, some very kind uncle and aunty.

Later, Caesar tried to hump on that big, white, fluffy ass. I stopped him when his paws were on her. But Kaze was such a "bo chap" kind of dog. She has that "hump lor" kind of attitude. A very calm dog by nature.

The owners agreed that giant breeds are very independent and equally stubborn. Without doubt, it takes more effort to train them, mentally and well, physically of course. Not forgetting to mention that they were shocked to hear from Phoebe that I'm the owner of my boy! Couldn't imagine how I managed to control him. Phoebe added, "She is very strong!" And Colin, "Ya, look at her arm muscles!"

*giggles* It was quite funny to hear that at that moment. But yea the opportunity cost of having a big beautiful pet is the beautiful, sleek, girly arms that all girls would pray for. I have big arms according to my body proportions.

This is Ah Dai, Caesar and I, taken quite somtime ago:

And their paws..

I just noticed how much I love this colour from this photo.
Now, where did I put that watch?

My love for Giant Dogs has again been proven and confirmed. I have no idea why, I love animals in general, but I just have something for bigger animals, and yes Giraffes are cute cos they have long eyelashes and blue tongue.

We realized Colin and I shared something in common in our characters. We both probably have big big Karma trees and Phoebe agreed! Hahahaha. Well he's my BIG BRO of course we share something in common!

For "concerned" readers/passerbys

This is a corridor of a 9-room pent house, not HDB.

How is it possible to keep one in HDB??? Do I look like a 'law-breaker'?

Caesar smelt his beef cooking, but he had to wait for the boiling hot beef + Soup to cool before consumption.

You can tell he's frustrated when he's hungry!

See how this giant reacts to his friends' names.
