Ghostly cries captured on video.

My brother showed me this errie footage of ghost in London's Dungeon. I don't see any ghostly figures, but we all heard this very very faint cries of a woman. Do not watch if you are alone at home. Listen very very carefully, the cries are extremely soft and it blends with the background.

DO NOT WATCH THIS IF YOU ARE ALONE. I'm not a timid person, but this creeped me out quite a bit.

Anyway, double bonus when I hear that Lynette was on her way to her place! I haven't met Lynette in person then and had been looking forward to see her. What's so great about this trio-gathering? We are all standing at the same height range and we weigh about the same!! LOL, same petite frame. So cute to hang out together right? I do not have many friends of my frame - in fact less than 5 who can fit into my tees!

I got the pronunciation very wrong at 1st... and I really embarrassed about it. I pronounced it in the English way instead of the Cantonese way and it sounded so so weird for a Chinese movie!

This trailer I found focuses more about the Grandmaster's life during the Japanese Occupation, rather than on the Kungfu part, but it features a move I wanna tell you about!

The movie I caught was professionally voiced-over in Mandarin. I didn't get that irritation which I usually get from "voiced-over" versions of other movies/drama series.

I was totally amazed by the sequence-punches. Jaw dropped when I saw that!! What's the name of this technique in Mandarin?

In my opinion, Donnie Yen played the character very well. I just went googling about his Wu Shu background. He picked up Traditional and mordern Chinese Martial Arts as soon as he could walk.. oh and he had spend part of his life living in Boston.. teenage years I think. But these are all I can remember.

Jet Li still remains as my IDOL!! He's kind-hearted, humble, a Taurus TOO! What attracts me most since young, he was a world champion for wushu!!!!

Something seems to be envious of me but tries to live in denial that it isn't, by personally diagnosing me with Anorexia in order to convince itself that high-metabolic rate is of non-existance.

I mean, com'on Bubbles (name of my new friend who commented - fat but strangely nothing with definite volume inside) what's wrong with admitting that you are indeed envious of me? Isn't it more difficult trying to deny a fact? It will be never-ending, facts are facts.. you know what I mean? Cos even till the day you die (I honestly have no idea how soon..), I am still gonna be someone who loves and enjoys eating unless critical heath-related problems comes in concern. Be good Bubbles.. just eat right and exercise.. okay?

**I have to declare 1st that I do not have issues with people who are overweight okay. I do have good friends who are slightly fleshier and I love them.

K back to the point, for supper before sleep, my usual order from Mcdelivery ranges from $12-$18, and I usually finish them slowly as I watch drama series on my laptop. Sometimes I doze off without brushing my teeth after supper.... .... .... ok I know that information wasn't appreciated.

To all, I know I have high metabolic-rate, I am happy with it cos food is something that can put me in very good mood BUT, BUT BUT BUT, I'm not proud of it. I just felt blessed cos I can eat without worrying about weight-gain (yet).

Everyone is blessed in different ways... some are born with stronger hearts that allow them to complete marathons without as much effort as others, some people are born more intelligent and they get good grades without putting in as much effort as others who got the same results, some people do not need to tip toe to reach the top of bookshelves while others have to put in effort to carry stools and stand on them before they can do the same. It's just natural for us to look at someone and can't help but sub-conciously be envious of what the person has that we don't. That's fine, if you need to put in extra effort to achieve what you want, do it. If there's nothing you can do about it (height for instance), get over it, move on, and identify good things you have that others don't. Why waste time looking at tallies and remain a bitter short lil fella?

I'm not good at words when it comes to this, right noe I'm already 40% in dreamland. I'll try firgure out if my words make sense after I wake up later.

Vision Delusion

Went for an eyecheck... I have astigmatism!! Damn it, how did that happen? Well I haven't been paying attention on exercising good eye-care habits but, what causes astigmatism? Using the computer in a dark room on a long term basis? Cos other than that, I can't think of any bad habits I have. For instance, I don't watch TV, unless the TV happens to be switched on while I'm having meals at the dining area (which is actually quite a distance from the screen). Oo I noticed that my eyes are more intolerant of bright lights as compared to others. If you catch me walking under hot sun, you'll probably think I'm walking with my eyes closed cos I can barely open them - any wrong with this sensitivity??

*sigh* Anyway, as a consolation, I got myself a pair of new spectacles.. but why do I still feel so bothered by this?!!?!?!??!???

How do we prevent astigmatism to get worse? How badly will this affect our vision? I have tons of questions all over my mind now.. and I guess I have priorities when it comes to researching for my own answers. Any guru to enlighten me?

Wee~~ couldn't ask for more, these are the things I've been wanting to get but didn't have the time to go out.

Have surveyed quite a few places but still thought the tea-light burner (whatever you call it) from Bodyshop's the sweetest-looking! I know there's a nicer one somewhere at Novena Square but I think that's way too far to travel. Bought the last piece at the store!

M.A.C concealer and foundation is ... goooooooooooood. Very good and natural coverage. Best coverage I've tried so far. (Dior's compact powder is a nightmare to my sensitive skin)

I went for full back, shoulders, chest, stomach waxing just recently and I have to warn girls out there with sensitive skin to avoid that. I have irritations all over. I was told that skin on the back and front are more sensitive than the other parts of your body, but I didn't expect to have pimples grown on them after waxing.

Other than these areas, all other parts are not so harsh on sensitive skin... hmm my opinion from my experiences that is.

Ok I know it's supposed to be a couple and I made the guy look like an ultra Little GAY Riding Hood. I didn't realise it's wearing pants! But nice or not, it's still a sweeet experience. Try it with your loved ones someday!

I believe most people still have a child in them subconsciously, it's just been forced out of our consciousness due to work, education, family, boyfriend, girlfriend commitments, stress etc... How many of us thought colouring isn't for us but got hooked on it after you have laid a coloured-pencil on a colouring paper with cute cartoons all over??

I went shopping with Xuesha yesterday and we took quite sometime dawdling around the kid's department looking at some childhood toys, reminising about the good times each of us had when we were still very very young.

Got me thinking about Polly Pockets. LOL. Do kids nowadays still play with that??

Black Kitty Search

I had an unforgettable experience out at Wild Wild Wet yesterday though some embarrassing things happened - I believe this cotributes a great deal to how 'unforgettable' this experience is. LOL shan't share the embarrassing part here. The palce and the rides aren't really worth the entrance fees but the company was great!

I was greeted by my 3 lil babies when I got home. Fed them, and went for a nap. I woke up at about 12am to walk Caesar and the kittens again but was only greeted by Latte, the tri-coloured one. It was rather an atypical behaviour of any of the 2 kittens to ignore my calls. Unlike Caesar, they'll respond immediately and run towards me under any kinds of circumstances.

So I waited at the corridor while Latte was feasting away on the fish fillet I've prepared. Called out for Mocha again, and was greeted by silence...

1am, I decided to bring them down for a walk, and also to look for Mocha. As usual, the cats will be carried while we enter the evalator. Latte was mewing non-stop while we entered the evalator and I thought she was probably afraid cos her brother wasn't around with her in my arms. When we reached B1 and was about to step out of the evalator, I realised something that jarred me completely. Latte's not the only one mewing!!!!!!!!!! It was like "holy sh*t the kitten's somewhere clinging onto the exterior of the evalator while we, including my neighbours, travel up and down for the past few hours!!!!"

I was behaving like a mad woman squatting outside the evalator talking to its door. All Mocha did was to mew. I seriously panicked and even thought of calling the security guards or the SPCA to rescue him!! After lots of hesitation, I decided to go back up to the top level and see what I can do without gathering unwanted attention from neighbours lazing around the compound late at night. It was a torment hearing the kitten mewing on the way up. I felt really really helpless cos I couldn't think of anything else to do. I couldn't dismantle the evalator, I couldn't force my way into the the gap and carry Mocha out.. and I'll probably regret for my entire life if this stray kitten dies!! At that point of time, I just hopped miracles will happen!!

Fortunately enough, once the door opened at the top level, Mocha ran out immediately. Stupid cat, why didn't he wanna get out when we were at B1????????

Okay I know it's long winded, but is was really psychologically exhausting for me cos I couldn't even sit back and relax if Mocha wasn't found or rescued. I was so glad I hugged the "then" dirty kitten so tight and was really thankful he was alright, no injuries, no nothing. LOL.

Shopping + Caesar meeting Reira

Went to town with my dear Xuesha and met Evon later, yesterday. I didn't buy a lot of things, just a couple of Anna Sui and M.A.C products. Forgot that it was Friday and I was a lil overwhelmed by the crowds in the malls. I don't really like noise and crowds ... that may be the reason why I haven't really been out to places people usually hang out. Places I go have greens, water, and sometimes the barkings of dogs. Ha~~

Who says my dear friend here can't do without make-up? Xuesha went to town with only fasle lashes and her good skin really compliments! Very good skin that many people do not have. I can't afford to go town without make-up cos I'll really need to conceal my PURPLE eyerings that Xuesha doesn't even have.

Went home with Evon later cos we live very nearby and I bought Caesar to meet her ultra-huggable husky! So clean, so fat, so CUUUUUTE!!! I have probably frightened her a lil cos I can't help but fo hug her like a soft toy! Pictures later.

Just another day

I'm going to deworm the kittens I'm fostering soon. Gonna sterilise them when they are older, and when I have enough spare cash. In that way they won't be producing anymore strays when they are out to roam around my condo's compound.

Can't wait to deworm them and see them grow! They are still so small and vulnerable.. especially towards the BIG, FAT cats living here.

Thank god the residents here are really cat-friendly, the cats here NEVER go hungry.

Eyebrow Embriodery

To all who tagged/emailed me,

I did mine about a year ago by a lady named Sophia at $178. This includes cream + 1 free touch up.

Location: Toa Payoh Central, Blk 520, #01-51 (Somewhere below Popular Bookstore)

Eyebrow embriodery (EE) is different from tatoo, which is permanent and turns green after sometime. EE looks more natural and fades off as your skin sheds its layers. You only need to maintain it by getting rid of the hair that grows around the ideal shape, shave them or pluck them out. It usually lasts about 1 - 2 years for most people. Avoid exfoliating the skin on your brows too often if you want a more lasting effect. I heard it fades faster on skin that are more oily.

I opted for this cos I have ugly brows and the structure of my brow bones makes it really difficult to draw nice brows. The EE on me has already faded and I haven't gone for touch-up. It looks very natural and if I have thick make-up on, I'll go over them with brow powder.

New ingredient in Caesar's diet!

Millet. Well not exactly "new" to his diet cos one of his kibble brands carries this as one of the main ingredient.

It's new to ME, Caesar's personal chef. I was shopping for ingredients for last night's "gourmet meal" when I saw this.

I had brown rice in my basket when I saw organic millet. I haven't tried cooking it before and since it's also a healthier choice as compared to normal rice grains, I chose this instead!

You just need to cook it like how you cook rice. Ratio of millet and water 1:3.

Last night's dinner consist of:

• Organic Millet
• Saltless Seaweed
• Potatoes
• Diced Chicken
• Tofu
• Celery

It smells really good as compared to white/brown rice. Caesar finished EVERYTHING in minutes! Caesar's daddy was my assistant chef that night!!

He has fried rice usually when I'm free to cook, and the ingredients are:

• Olive Oil (Healthier Choice!)
• Eggs
• Minced pork
• Carrots (non-fat-soluble Vitamin A, maintains healthy skin & coats)
• Potatoes (my baby loves potatoes!!)

Think I'll try out beef stew next time!!

Note: It is often not necessary to add salt to your dogs' food cos they usually get more than enough from their kibbles and treats (even meat alone!). Excess of it can be fatal in the long run.

P.S It's the 4th day since I brought the kittens for short walks around the estate compound, just to get them familiarise with the area before letting them go. (I'll love to see them around still)

But something really freaked me out yesterday. Big cats, big FAT cats, the bullies. The black kitten was about 15 metres from me when I saw a big cat crouching behind it, ready to pounce!! The kitten was so small-looking as compared to the average size of cats here! I have forgotten about how exactly I've reacted but I knew I ran towards it making quite a lot of noise calling out the kitty's name - not sure when I've loosen the grip of Caesar's leash..

The next thing that happened was a chaos. The cat ran away from Caesar but in the direction of the tri-coloured kitten!! I really feared that the kittens will get harmed. I remembered that I ran here and there yelling out somethings and my eyes were so occupied trying to follow all the fast motions of cats and dog. Fortunately my handsome heroic baby giant continued to give chase, and the kitten stayed still in position, waiting for me to carry it. When I was about to do so, I wondered since when was the black kitten in my arms?? I seriously don't remember carrying it at all!

Brought them home after that and continued the walk with Caesar alone. Just not safe enough for the small ones..

Temporary Curls again!

Check out this style, I like it better than the previous that was done recently. Same hair stylist!

Was told this colour is classified as "cool brown" or "matt brown". Opposite of warm colours. I'm not sure what he was talking about. He mentioned warm colours are colours that are closer to red, orange than to green and blue, which are classified as "cool" colours. Cool Brown was said to be some colour that has always been the "in" thing" in Japan. Compliments skin colour and is best on good complexion. But worry not, it goes very well with make-up even when you do not have flawless skin. <---- How many people do you think have flawless skin??? I have forgotten to pose for nice pictures and these are the best I can find..

I did eyelash extensions! It had never occur to be that I will try it out one day cos I didn't think I needed to! But there was a Christmas promotion and it's only $38 so it just made sense when I went to try it out! Didn't regret it.

Before she started, I took a peek at the false lashes she's gonna use on me. What went through my mind was, "Ehh, isn't that the length of my eyelashes?!" No kidding, they were about the same length, and even shorter than some! So I told her my thoughts and asked for a longer set.

Xuesha did eyebrow embriodery touch-up too. I didn't touch-up mine cos I feel like doing it again when I bring mum there. Did it 2 years ago and it's still visible, faint though, I go over them with brow powder now.

Xuesha came and bathe my boy with hubby and I. Caesar loves her! Haha, I noticed that Caesar has his own perception of beauty too! He likes pretty girls! We bathed Caesar on the ground floor cos I figured that we will make quite an amount of noise bathing him, and we'll end up getting reprimanded my by parents.







I realised that bathing him else where not only saves me the trouble of cleaning and deordourizing the bathroom, saves a lot of water $$ too!! Hey, I'm entitled to use the facilities here okay, plus we pay higher maintenance fees than others.. *giggles*

Showed Xuesha my mighty dog-blower and let her tried it on... all of us ended up covered in Caesar's fur. It's strange, his major shedding usually kicks in only after January but it "arrived" early this round! My room's snowing all day, especially when Caesar shakes - fur-snowing. What a Christmas present from my baby boy..

P.S It's really really not comfy (the lash extensions), but it works wonders on your appearance! I used to wake up looking at a zombie staring back at me inthe mirror, but now I see a fresh-faced human! It kinda just makes your eyes sparkle. I'm not sure how long I can tolerate these lashes. Irks me..

We did our lash extension and brow embriodery in a parlour somewhere near Toa Payoh Interchange, below Popular bookstore. It's called Best Beauty Centre. They have another outlet for spa and massage on the 4th level. I found this place while googling for recommendations on brow embriodery a couple of years ago. If you wanna do brow embriodery, look for Sophia. She's good!

It was crowded yesterday, and we also have irresponsible owners who had their territorial dogs unleashed on the beach... They went after Tiara, but luckily they didn't attack. They were fortunate that Caesar was in control.. or I guess we will all hit the headlines on articles regarding dog attacks.. Other than the presence of of some retarded male species playing volley ball, this outing was a great experience!!

Went home at about 7pm. There was so much sand trapped in Caesar's coat even after 2 showers!

I was supposed to reach East Coast with baby at 6am sharp to cheer for Mr.猪猪 but I overslept! I swear I didn't hear the alarm rang, nor the sound of my mobile ringing..

So I cabbed down to somewhere nearer to the finishing point at the 37km mark!

Take a look at these crazy people who tortured themselves under the sun! Kidding kidding! I'm just intolerant of heat, rashes will appear all over and I'll end up in shitty mood. I guess people won't even give a damn about the heat & sun when all they have in mind is "I will complete this marathon."

No I'm not crazy, that's not yogurt, it's another can-drink chilled in ice! This is the only tub I can find at home and it can hold only 1 can.

Froze it the night before to make sure that it can still remain chilled after long hours in this shit weather. I added ice cubes before water to make sure the can stays in the desired position.. Looks like water with small ice cubes from the picture, but it's actually one big piece of ice!

Despite such effort, I was told to go straight home after that! @$#@%@%^!! I went with empty stomach okay, he should have offered to have lunch with me cos afterall, he was only 5km to the finishing point then.

Being me, I refuse to abide and went to City Hall to demand to meet-up for lunch. I was hungry!!

Oh well afterall who can stop me from doing what I want?

I think... I think all of them gained weight ... quite a lot of weight for such a short time.

How did that happen? I wanna know the secret! *snigger*

Saw people of all shapes and sizes jogged pass *giggles*.. what grossed me out early morning was that I saw 3 super skinny guys walking pass *not even jogging* half-naked (it really isn't that warm at that time - attention seekers), though they have 6 pacs, they really do have close resemblence to cockroaches, I don't know why, skinny guys with 6 pacs really look like roaches to me, and I hate roaches.. I'm glad my stomach was empty or they would have caused me to empty it on the spot then.

I saw senior couples jogging, one of which with the husband following his wife like an Ancient Imperial Palace's eunuch (just an analogy), one hand holding a water-bottle, another with some gels for muscle care.. they look really loving though!

Another person who created an impression was a vision impaired man. He was blind-folded and was guided by volunteers who take turns to jog, with a strap attached to him and his volunteer as they jogged.. 42km! Respect all who completed the marathon, regardless of timing!

*Sigh* I'm like officially so ah lian-looking with this hair colour..

P.S This is a clear example of over-exposure again. Sorry but I have to say this to disappoint some morons... I've got no make-up on!! Nose is still visible cos of angle of camera.. who was harping about "over-powdering" last time?? My arms aren't exactly tanned but my face has really fair skin esp without make-up cos all skin care products goes only to face (I'm lazy to bother about neck and arms really).

Puzzles me when he mumbled something like "that's rare.." not sure what he's referring to. Hair colour or the fact that I don't dye my hair when almost everyone else does?

That's just temporary curls ... for fun! The only differences were length and colour of hair. I have my hair layered. Honestly speaking, my heart was bleeding and aching when he snipped my hair!! ..and I suppose I'll stick to my original hair colour until the day they start turning grey...

P.S Victoria's Secret Spree again anyone?

Kittens for adoptions

Long story short, I found them in the middle of roadworks, wet and dirty (notice the tri-coloured one looks like it has grey paws instead of white?), mewing helplessly without their mother. Most cats that live near my condo compound are bullies and I didn't want them to get attacked by older cats.

Brought them home, fed them kitten's milk cos I suppose they should still be weaning. The only defence these kittens know are to hiss and nothing else. They do not know how to attack using their claws, so if you ignore their hisses and continue to move your hands towards them, they'll just sit motionless to let you pick them up. See how helpless they are?

If you wana adopt them but worry about the existance of your pet dog...

Worry not, cos they aren't afraid of dogs, they've seen a giant, so I guess smaller ones are fine as long as they are gentle!

The black kitten doesn't look photogenic here. I believe most people will naturally like the tri-coloured one more. Frankly speaking, both Caesar and I prefer the black kitten. Smarter, more obedient, less aggressive, less noisy. It's often bullied by the other when food comes in concern.

I always leave the naughty one to the disciplinary master - my baby.

Caesar: "Listen up, I'm not gonna help you clean up next time!! No dirty cats in my house you understand???"

I do not have the intention to keep them though (on impluse I suspect) I very much want to. My parents are getting more intolerant cos they thought it's been a bad habit from young that I always bring stray animals home (LOL!!). Anyway, they just can't stay, especially when my pet hamsters are arriving. These kittens are already starting to display their hunting instincts; catching insects and all.

My baby gets really annoyed when they like to climb into hie HUGE food bowl and start licking. He's a possessive giant and I'm afraid he'll injure them with his "warning bite". Besides, I'm not sure if kittens understand the growl signals. Till date, I don't think they do. And Caesar seem to like to nudge them with his nose, which to me, looks too rough and I worry of the consequence of broken bones.

P.S What is the price range for cat sterilization? I'll not go to SPCA for free sterilizations (really a hassel) if it's within my budget.
